Travelling through Elkins, WV (approximately one hour north) you will find Kroger's, WalMart SuperCenter, and Food Lion.

Travelling through White Sulphur Springs/Lewisburg, WV (approximately 1.5 hours south) you will find Kroger's, WalMart SuperCenter, and Food Lion.

Gas Stations

Big Springs Exxon - Located at the base of Snowshoe Mountain at the intersection of Rt. 66 and Rt. 219, Big Springs Exxon is open nightly until 10:00 PM. (304)572-3535

Other gas stations can be found in Marlinton, White Sulphur Springs and Lewisburg to the south, and Elkins to the north.

Allegheny Mountain Radio broadcasts on 1370 AM or 107.1 FM.

Banks and ATM's

ATM's are available on top of Snowshoe Mountain at the Shaver's Center, the Village area, and Silver Creek Lodge. At the base of Snowshoe is Citizen's National Bank, which also offers ATM service.

Cell Phone Service

Cell phone service at Snowshoe Mountain is very limited. When travelling towards Snowshoe expect to lose coverage when you get approximately one to two hours from the resort. There are pockets of coverage the remainder of the way and on the mountain, but you should not rely on using your cell phone for communication. A calling card is recommended to make calls from the resort.
